CUSTOM PORTRAITS
Although I refer to them as portraits, they are much more than just that. Each one is meant to act as a mandala and talisman in which the subject is embedded with and surrounded by personal symbols, icons, elements, and spirit animals that protect and empower them. The creative process is a collaboration between the subject and me in order to capture the essence and mood of the portrait.
It works like this:
We begin with a phone consultation where you will have an opportunity to share your story, personal myth, and ideas, as well as clarify both our goals and expectations. I will use that information, and I also like to sprinkle a few things from my imagination. From there I will begin to piece together the portrait and soon after will share the first draft. (I usually hit it pretty close that\ first time). After that, you will offer feedback and I will make the desired edits. I offer 3 rounds of edits with the base price.
When completed you will receive a ready-to-print high-resolution digital file that you can use in any fashion or medium you like. I will be happy to guide you through that process, suggest different print styles, and place an order for prints with one of the very skilled professional online print resources I have.

YOGA
All classes will be tailored to meet the specific needs of the students. Whether you are starting from scratch or want to deepen your existing practice, I will gladly guide and assist you on your yoga journey. I prefer to teach classes at my home dojo ‘MISURI NUEVE’. I am also open to discussing making house calls in CDMX, offering lessons remotely, and teaching at retreats, gatherings, and events for those willing to cover travel expenses.
I have 20+ years of yoga teaching and practice experience in various modalities including Ashtanga, Kundalini, and Hatha, as well as extensive studies in Sanskrit, meditation, Eastern mythology and philosophy, and pranayama (yogic breathing techniques). I have had the good fortune to study with many of today's great masters. I was authorized to teach Kundalini by Yogi Bhajan in 1998 and Ashtanga by Pattabhi Jois in 2002. I apprenticed under and taught with Eddie Stern from 2001-2007 at Ashtanga Yoga New York and ran my own Mysore Style program in Tokyo from 2007-2014.
