Some boards shown here are available for purchase, while others serve as inspiration for custom commissions. I particularly enjoy the collaborative process of creating boards that weave together a client's stories, passions, memories, and symbols into a piece that is both personal and playable.
Start a Commission
It starts with a conversation — your ideas, imagery, themes, and overall vision for the piece.
We talk it through. Once I have a clear sense of direction, there's a non-refundable $200 design fee to create a detailed digital mockup for your review, which includes custom artwork for all 24 points, the checker trays and side pockets, the center of the home board, as well as the front and back of the board itself. Checker and dice colors come later.
You approve the mockup. If you move forward, that $200 design fee is applied toward the final cost. The full board is US $2,200.
Production begins. A 50% deposit starts the build, with the balance due before shipping. I'll share photos of the board as it comes together, so you can watch it take shape.
It ships. Most commissions are completed within 2–3 weeks of final mockup approval, though timelines vary with complexity.
